Arthur Hayes, the co-founder of BitMEX, has stated that the ongoing Bitcoin bull market may continue until the year 2026. In a recent interview, He told investors to stay calm and not make emotional decisions based on the performance of traditional markets such as stocks and gold. Following a separate and longer-term path is Bitcoin, Hayes said.
Bitcoin Will Thrive Through Inflation,
He explained that while stocks and gold are at all-time highs, Bitcoin shouldn’t be compared over a short time period. Instead, he believes that Bitcoin will continue to be a good performer in the face of currency inflation and economic uncertainty. He urged investors to take a long-term view and not to be tempted to seek a quick profit.
Arthur Hayes pointed out that major monetary expansion by governments has not even started yet. Political leaders, he said, typically put off big economic decisions until there is pressure from the public or financial markets. He expects that if Donald Trump is elected once again in the upcoming United States election, his government may implement new stimulus measures on the economy by mid-2026. Hayes thinks this will add to the value of Bitcoin.

In addition to Bitcoin and HYPE, Hayes recently made a large buy of Ethereum. And on August 9th, 2025, he purchased $10.5 million worth of ETH. This occurred only one week after he sold 2,373 ETH for $8.32 million. This move was not ignored by the crypto community and was viewed as a sign of renewed confidence in Ethereum.
